Cedar Point is great resort for kids and adults of all ages. Whether you are 9 or 90, we have activities and amenities for your family and friends. The lake is excellent for fishing with a fish cleaning house on-site for when you catch the BIG ONE! The lake is 730 acres of swimming, boating, paddle boating, and canoeing. The name "Big Sand Lake" comes from the sand base at the bottom of the lake. Guests can swim at our swimming area or at individual cabin docks.
The layout of the resort allows kids to play and explore the playground and ball field with a direct view from each cabin or the a-frame house. Each cabin and the a-frame have their own personal dock. Fishing boats can be rented for the week fee. If you have your own boat, it can be launched right at the resort. Each modern rustic cabin and the a-frame house have modern kitchens with cooking supplies including a coffee maker for your morning "Cup of Joe," air conditioning, tv and movie viewing options, and internet access. The cabins also have individual picnic tables and grills located just outside.
Fishing on Big Sand is excellent with great lake clarity!
The lake is called Big Sand for a reason. Swim in our swimming area or at your own dock!

When your done fishing for the day, we have a fish cleaning house on site!

We have a great playground and grassy ball field for kids to enjoy the outdoors!
Each cabin has it's own grill and a picnic table for your barbecuing needs!
A community campfire is available at the resort to kick back, relax and maybe have a more!

In the land of Big Foot, Babe the Blue Ox, and Paul Bunyan, it is important to have an "up North" place to kick back and relax. If your lucky, maybe this trio will stop by and say "hi." Big Foot really likes the paddle boat when he comes by for a visit! The legends of the north country live strong at Cedar Point Resort!
